Scholarship capital fundraising campaign to raise funds for HBCUs in the Southern Area
This fundraising campaign, a collaboration between The Links Foundation, Incorporated and the Southern Area, is to raise funds for scholarships for the HBCUs in the seven states that comprise the Southern Area. There are 57 HBCUs in these seven states, the highest number of any of the four Areas of The Links, Incorporated.
The Southern Area HBCU Initiative began under the 16th Southern Area Director, Margaret Thompson Johnson, and has continued to grow under each Southern Area Director since then. Now, this 2020-2021 Capital Campaign seeks “Collective Excellence in Our Giving” with members and chapters.
