BPIA invites you to join us on November 19, 2020, for our Fourth Annual Sub-Saharan Africa Regional Economic Outlook Forum. As noted in this year’s edition of the International Monetary Fund’s Regional Economic Outlook for Sub-Saharan Africa Summary, the region “is struggling to navigate an unprecedented health and economic crisis – one that, in just a few months, has jeopardized decades of hard-won development gains and upended the lives and livelihoods of millions.” Moreover, there are intrinsic links between the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change, with Sub-Saharan Africa being the region of the world most vulnerable to climate change. During our virtual forum, join experts from IMF, USADF, and Thunderbird School of Global Management as they discuss the ramifications of these projections and what that may mean for the international economic system.
